I never set out to write a book. Then I met someone who wouldn't let the idea go, and eighty-four days later, neither would I.
Becoming Fearless · The Daily Brave is an 84-day guided journal built to change your relationship with fear, one honest morning at a time. Each day gives you three simple steps: an inner exercise, a real-world action, and a prompt to make sense of what you find. It draws on twelve proven frameworks, including somatic awareness, shadow work, Internal Family Systems, and nervous system regulation, translated into plain, doable daily practice.
This isn't therapy, and it isn't a productivity hack. It's a structured path from the fear that quietly runs your life to the version of you that doesn't need it to.
I co-wrote Becoming Fearless · The Daily Brave with Cassie Childers. It is an 84-day journal that walks a reader from fear into courage one small, honest practice at a time. We wrote it because the version of this book we needed didn't exist, and because between the two of us we had lived enough of our own fear to know exactly what would have helped.
Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the daily decision to keep moving while you feel it.
Writing it was its own kind of courage. I am an investor and a builder by trade, not a writer by training, and putting a book into the world under my own name was a fear I had to walk through, not around. Eighty-four days of drafting taught me more about honesty on the page than any of the twenty years before it.
Fifty arrives this June. Being an author at this point in my life feels less like a new chapter and more like the natural next line of one I have been writing for twenty years already: investor, builder, musician, father, and now, finally, on the record as a writer too.
Twelve weeks · twelve frameworks · one page a day.
